Fainin is Germany's largest peer-to-peer rental marketplace and connects neighbors to share things safely and sustainably. Built on Vendure.
The Problem
Devices and tools gather dust in apartments while neighbors buy the same things new. It needed a marketplace that builds in trust and insurance cover from day one.
Why Vendure
The multi-channel data model fits a P2P rental marketplace perfectly; the plugin architecture let us build our own integrations for KYC and insurance without forking the core.
What we built
Vendure storefront, booking system, Sum-Sub KYC, ERGO insurance, payment integration, referral system, AI description generator and more. iOS and Android apps plus web. All as Vendure plugins, all maintainable.
